Peter Mellow is a senior lecturer/flexible learning advisor at AUT University where he has taught for the last 20 years. Initially teaching sport science for 18 years, Peter is now a member of the Centre for Educational Development (CEPD). In 2007 Peter was awarded a national tertiary teaching excellence award and an Apple Distinguished Educators award. In 2004, he was named in the first group of Flexible Leaning Leaders in New Zealand (FLLinNZ).

Recent projects:
StudyTXT - a SMS message system to allow students to 'snack on study' in non-traditional study environments.
iPod Gym - a series of 100 iPod ready videos containing common gym exercises for people to use in their workout.
Pre-School Te Reo - Whakahihiko te Hinengaro (stimulate the mind) was a project developed with Sheryl Ferguson and myself trying to develop simple interactive Te Reo (NZ Maori language) activities.
